Hi everyone;
We melded the AA, FoF and AV rules together to come up with a great game pitting the fictional Commander Zero and his Patriotic Front of Zimbabwe, against my friend Stepman3 and his Rhodesian forces.

Darn it! Don't you realize that Facebook is blocked at work!?!
I'll be sure to check it out at home (if it's not too hot for the PC!).
Looking forward to reading it.

Looks like it was a really good game _________________ "When I think back on all my imaginary friends...I can't think of one that I didn't have to kill." |

Sorry Jim
I'm sure you'll enjoy the story.
The game and scenario kind of took on a life of it's own as we hashed details out.
We were "hashing out the details" as we set up and then played the game.
Since we didn't have an actual "Orbat" for the Greys Scouts, Rhodesian Light Infantry or the Rhodesian Rifles, we came up with our own based on what we've read in books, on-line and here at AA Forums.
The numbers of troops on each side kept escalating as Stepman3 started pulling Rhodesian troops out his carrying case, the rebel commander, John Wilson insisted one having some kind of parity in numbers.
Troop Quality and Motivation ratings were best guess too.
But the nice thing about the rules is that it all worked for an enjoyable game.
If we came upon a situation that wasn't in AA, we would look in FoF or AV books, or come up with a consensus.
The one thing we did not do but should have done was to have more terrain on the table.
We'll learn for next time.
Good Gaming Guys;

Thanks Jim;
This was our first game based on the African Bush Wars and we really enjoyed it.
I can't let Stepman3 have all the fun with the troops, will have to get a bunch my self now.
There's a scenario book out for another game system that, should have some good ideas for us to use. I'll have to pick that up too.
